The approach of the Khudam Al-Qur’an team is to embody the Qur’an in our actions and character with the goal of fostering love for the Qur’an throughout our masjid and the larger community. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our Khudam Al-Qur’an Committee, a team of select individuals volunteering with Imam Muhammad Nabeel to regulate Qur’an activity in the masjid. Qualified sisters and brothers of any age are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Memorized at least 3 juz and certified in memorization and/or recitation with ijaazah; or memorized at least 10 juz as evidenced by testing with Imam Muhammad.
• As part of the application process, a ta’aruf meeting with Imam Muhammad Nabeel is additionally required.

Responsibilities

• Upon approval, duties may include: leading halaqaat, judging in Qur’an competitions, leading prayers in absence of Imams, correcting recitation in Qur’an circles, teaching tajweed and Qur’an in various masajid/communities
