Join ISBCC for a family-friendly Community Painting Session on Sunday, February 24, 2018 at 4:30 pm to 8pm. The goal of this session is to reflect on our relationship with Allah (swt), connecting to HIM through a practice of hands on art session and reflecting on the beauty of creation through Quran and Hadith. There will be a brief khatira from our Imam at the beginning of the event followed by a painting session with the theme of Mountains and Meadows. The registration fee is $25 and will be waived for those who are unable to complete the payment. Please use the form to register no later than Friday, February 22nd at 10am. Considering it is a hands on art workshop event, we are restricting the amount of participants to 40. Please register at your earliest convenience as the registration will be closed once it reaches the desired number of people. Our registration deadline is 10am on Friday, February 22nd InshAllah.

Please come 10 minutes before the event. We will start the event sharp on time without any delay. As it is based on live instructions so you do not want to miss any part of it.

Some tips for first time attendees of an community art event
You do not have to worry about knowing how to do professional painting. The Instructor will paint and guide everyone to follow her and thus you shall be able to create your own painting. Please choose your attire keeping in mind that it might get paint stains . We will be providing aprons. You do not have to bring any paint, brushes, canvas etc with you, we will be providing that during the event. Children above 9 years are welcome to register. We are not keeping this event open for children below 9 years, We definitely love to see our little ummah in the masjid in all events but considering the involvement of liquid paint, brushes, water, canvas etc which if gets messy will involve messing up the masjid floor very badly. Children above 9 years have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian all the time during the event.
