After emcee introduction by brother Munther Al Alami, the night peacefully opened up with Arabic Quran recitation by Shaykh Mohamed Shaakir and English translation by Imam Suleiman Abdul-Musawwir. ISBCC board of Trustees brother Anwar Kazmi shared progress about most recent updates in regards to BOD formation, ISBCC new direction and stakeholders relationships. The community enjoyed great insights from guest speaker Harvard Chaplain Dr Khalil Abdulrashid about the nightly theme of Us: Nurturing a prophetic community. Shaykh Yasir Fahmy beautified the night further by more prophetic reflections and heart warming Athkar before Maghreb prayer. After a delicious dinner, the night concluded with our last fundraiser guest speaker Dr Altaf Husain and with Allah’s grace and blessings your generous gifts to support your mosque added up thus far to 405k. Alhamdulillah rab Al Alameen the night was flowing with lots of Baraka and a wonderful volunteer momentum.
