The leadership and Muslim Community of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) extend our deepest condolences to the members of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, and the entire Jewish Community for the senseless loss of life that occurred on Saturday, October 27, 2018. As people of faith, we condemn this heinous act of anti-Semitism and all hate inspired violence. The Muslim Community stands with the Jewish Community in united opposition to racial and religious bigotry and in staunch support of freedom to worship in peace, free from fear.

As we struggle to work through the shock, grief and anger we feel in the aftermath of this tragedy, we are reaching out to our our Jewish colleagues, friends and neighbors with profound empathy and unwavering support. We encourage all of our Muslim community members and neighbors to attend the various vigils to come this week as we mourn and stand against this heinous tragedy.
