Security Enhancement
Over the past year and a half, the ISBCC has made a number of security enhancements to make sure our masjid is secure. These enhancements have included the installation of automatic gates and additional lights in the parking lot, high quality cameras inside and outside the building, restricted use of the garage to employees, locked garage doors and an evacuation plan.
Security experts also recommended periodic trainings and adoption of up-to-date best practices for our security personnel. Due to our management team's lack of expertise and know-how in security practices, the ISBCC leadership has decided that the best course of action is to engage a professional security company to assure the safety of the ISBCC community. That security company will be St. Moritz Security.
With the intake of St. Moritz Security, unfortunately we bid farewell to our beloved Brothers Muhammad Abuwi, Abdul-Hakeem (Michael Keel), and Redwan Abdalla. By Allah’s aid we were able to secure opportunities with St. Moritz Security for future career advancement (pending a routine interview) for our beloved brothers should they choose. Please make special duas for them. May Allah always grant them the best in this life and the next.
